Today, we turn to a challenge to New Jersey’s assault weapon ban, in the matter of Cheeseman v. Platkin. Washington Gun Law President, William Kirk, discusses the fact that before a 3 judge panel could rule, after hearing arguments on July 1st, the Chief Judge has ordered en banc review of this case. Oral arguemtns are now set for later this year.
