Can a Person Really Be Disarmed for Exercising Their Right of Free Speech?

While there may be a historical tradition of disarming individuals who are deemed dangerous, can words alone, get them disarmed? That is can you lose your Second Amendment Right because you exercised your First Amendment Right? Washington Gun Law President, William Kirk, discusses the case of New Jersey attorney Rajeh Saadeh, a Palestnian American who has been very vocal on social media of his views on the Isreali-Palestnian conflict. But while he was exercising his right of free speech, and expressing his views, of which many of us would disagree with, the State of New Jersey has no found that his free expressions, without any threats of violence, are gounds to deny him a renewal of his concealed carry license.
