We’ve been talking about the matter of Benson v. United States, where for the first time in American history, a major appellate court has struck down a magazine ban. But today we will focus on a case that has much greater implications and the affect that this case could have on that. The we discussed a supplemental memorandum filed in the Duncan v. Bonta matter that utilized the Court’s reasoning to encourage acceptance, finally, by the Supreme Court of a platform ban case. Now two other cases in our group of 5 have also filed their own supplemental memorandums of authorities, again both citing to Benson v. United States.
