Everytime we totally get on board with what DOJ is doing for our 2A rights, they go ahead and do something like this. Washington Gun Law President, William Kirk, discusses the TERRIBLE brief filed by DOJ in the matter of Benson v. United States in which DOJ is now joining the District of Columbia in asking for an en banc review of the ruling which found DC’s magazine ban unconstitutional. While it would appear that DOJ only has a problem with the remedy ordered by the Court, this move will likely assist in overturning a significant win for the Second Amendment and could ultimately affect what happens at the nation’s highest court….and none of it in a good way.
