We love to use real life examples to better illustrate how self defense laws work and today, we have a perfect and tragic example of the First Aggressor Standard. Washington Gun Law President, William Kirk, discusses a case which just occurred a few miles from our studio on the Seattle waterfront. This confrontation, which was created by the one now claiming self defense, is a classic example of “if you pick the fight, you don’t later get to claim self defense. So let’s learn from a real life mistake, that will cost this guy several years of his life so that we can be armed with education.
