Sure, you’d think the answer is of course you can, but you might be surprised the answer depends on where you live. Washington Gun Law President, William Kirk, discusses the case of Martin v. United States, a case recently accepted for review by the United States Supreme Court. This case stems for a raid of a family in Georgia by the FBI way back in 2017. While the FBI had a warrant, they also had the wrong house. In fact, they’re weren’t even that close. But when the Georgia family tried to sue the FBI, the 11th Circuit told them to get lost.
