Why Colorado’s Assault Weapon Ban Bill is Just as Bad as Any Other…and Possibly Worse

Well, here we go again Colorado. Your state legislature is trying, again, to ban large swaths of firearms which they now want to label as “specified semiautomatic firearms.” Washington Gun Law President, William Kirk, discuses SB 25-003, Colorado’s latest attempt to disarm its citizens with an unconstitutional gun ban. Unlike previous assault weapon bans, which ban the firearm for its features on the outside, this bill tries to ban them based upon some of the common features found inside these firearms. this may sound familiar to you as Congress attempted this last year on the Federal leval in S.3369, better known as the GOSAFE Act. So learn what Colorado is trying to do to its citizens so that you can arm yourself with education today.
